Why it works

A family Easter needs cheeses everyone eats: a whole brie scored on top, herbed goat cheese, mild Havarti and Babybel wheels for the kids. Prosciutto and honey ham are the two meats, one salty and one sweet.

Spring produce does the decorating: berries, sliced radishes and snap peas in pastel and bright colors. Lemon curd is the unusual touch, and it's wonderful with the goat cheese. Mini chocolate eggs go on last.

Questions

What goes on an Easter charcuterie board?

Brie, goat cheese, Havarti, Babybel, prosciutto, honey ham, berries, radishes, snap peas, honey, lemon curd, candied walnuts, mini chocolate eggs and crackers.

Is it kid-friendly?

Yes. The cheeses are mild, the ham is sweet and the chocolate eggs are a hit. Halve grapes or berries for small children.

Can I make it ahead?

Wash the produce and slice the cheese the night before. Build the board on Easter morning. Leave it out no more than 2 hours, or 1 hour above 90°F.
