Why it works
A brunch board needs both halves of brunch. Smoked salmon, cream cheese, capers and everything bagel seasoning make the savory corner, and croissants, brie, jam and honey make the sweet one. Guests build whichever breakfast they came for.
Capers next to the salmon matter more than they look: their sharp, salty bite cuts the richness of the fish and the cream cheese. Fresh berries and peaches give the board color and a fresh note to finish.
Timeline
- T–30 minTake the brie out of the fridge; soften the cream cheese; wash the fruit.
- T–20 minHalve the croissants; slice the cucumber.
